Privacy Policy
Inov8r Labs Inc. ("Inov8r Labs," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit inov8rlabs.com or interact with us. Each individual product in our portfolio (such as Homeboard, BuyForBaby, TripWiz, FitCircle) is operated under this corporate parent and may publish its own product-level privacy notice covering the specifics of that service. Where there is a conflict, the product-level notice governs that product.
01Who we are
Inov8r Labs Inc. is a corporation incorporated under the laws of British Columbia, Canada (BC Corporation No. BC1310005), with its registered office in Burnaby, British Columbia. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this corporate website. For our products, the data controller is identified within the product's own privacy notice or terms.
02Information we collect on this website
This website is a corporate marketing site. We collect a limited amount of information:
- Information you provide voluntarily. If you email us (for example, at hello@inov8rlabs.com), we receive whatever you send, typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Automatic technical information. Our hosting and security providers may automatically log standard request data such as IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, and timestamps. This is used to operate the site, debug issues, and prevent abuse.
- Analytics. If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool, it may set cookies or use device identifiers to count unique visits and understand which pages are useful. We aim to use tools that do not build cross-site profiles of you.
We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
03How we use information
We use the limited information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries you send us.
- Operate, maintain, and secure the website.
- Understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing.
04Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA / UK)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for optional analytics or marketing communications), our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our website and business, the performance of a contract with you, and legal obligations we are subject to.
05Service providers
We use a small number of trusted service providers, for example, website hosting, email delivery, analytics, and security/CDN services, who process information on our behalf under appropriate contracts. We do not authorize them to use your information for their own purposes.
06International transfers
We are based in Canada, but our service providers may process data in other jurisdictions, including the United States and the European Union. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms) where required by law.
07Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, or to resolve disputes. Email correspondence is typically retained for as long as we maintain a relationship with you, plus a reasonable archival period.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Residents of British Columbia and other Canadian provinces have rights under PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy legislation. Residents of California have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Residents of the EEA and UK have rights under the GDPR.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@inov8rlabs.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
09Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses a minimal set of cookies necessary for it to function and, where applicable, optional cookies for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the site.
10Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure; if we discover a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
